EP 119: My Journey to Healing and Coming Back to Nature, God and Myself

In this special episode of the Phoenix Rising Podcast, we’re switching things up as I am being interviewed by Lisa Piluschak, the host of the “Healed” Now What? Podcast. This is a vulnerable conversation as I share my journey into CPTSD and what happened to my nervous system when I was faced with trauma. We dive into menopause, finding a new normal, hanging out in the unknown, working with nature and plants, God, spirit, and so much more.

How I landed where I’m at today, what happened within my own journey, and what led me back to nature, God, and herbals. Breaking free from the New Age world and goddess realms and leaning back into the masculine figure of God. Getting curious about more aspects of life. How I experienced Jesus pursuing me. Surrender is allowing ourselves to be held.

How Covid intensified the threat and my CPTSD. Triggering trauma and how that led to panic attacks and nervous system dysregulation.

Discernment is often missing when we're in states of shutdown or overwhelm because we’re desperate, and desperate people do desperate things.

How I navigated early menopause both naturally, somatically, and with medication. Once we remove some of the barriers to healing, all of the other things become much more efficient.

It's a constellation that brings us to illness, and it's a constellation that heals us. Getting to know yourself more deeply, setting boundaries, and making confident decisions for yourself.

My wildcrafting journey with nature, bees, plants, herbs, and making medicine. Reconnecting with people and my food and how that’s impacted me. My journey of learning and growing out loud and having compassion and grace for ourselves.
